Man arrested in Kolkata

Kolkata, Sept 24 (UNI) The Netaji Subhass Chandra Bose International Airport police today detained a man who allegedly took a woman to Canada in the guise of his wife.

Immigration officials at the Airport told UNI that Kishore D.

Oraskar(38) flew to Canada from Kolkata on June 16 last along with this woman. But on arrival at Canada the woman complained to the police that Oraskar was not her husband but was a member of racket to send women abroad.

Canadian police immediately deported the two to Delhi where the man claimed that he was actually 'escorting' the woman, a daughter of a Mumbai based film producer.

Delhi police then send the two officers to Kolkata and the immgiration authority handed over the man.
