Mah BJP criticises K'taka govt for session at Belgaum
Mumbai, Sep 25 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP general secretary Vinod Tavade today criticised the J D (S) -BJP coalition government in Karnataka for calling the session of the state legislature in Balgaum.
In a release issued here today, Mr Tavade said there was no need of calling this session when the border dispute issue was before the Supreme Court.
He said that the BJP would support the agitation launched by Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti for demanding the merger of the disputed territory in Maharashtra as people of border areas of Belgaum and others were facing difficulties for the last 50 years.
Interestingly, the Karnataka government headed by H D Kumarswamy is in coalition with BJP.
