LSU concerned over interfactional clashes

Kohima, Sep 25 (UNI) The Litami Students' Union (LSU) under Zunheboto district has expressed concern over the inter-factional clashes on September 22, where innocent villagers were used as "human shields" by the warring factions.

In a release issued by the President Tokivi Y Sumi and General Secretary Kakiye I Chishi stated that one Satoli Chishi was seriously injured with multiple bullet injuries in her body.

The Union made it clear that both the factions were responsible for unleashing terror and destruction of the villages.

The release said it was harvesting season the factions should not indulge in violence.
