Jagran Prakashan launches infotainment newspaper

New Delhi, Sept 25: Close on the heels of announcing an in-principle agreement to publish the facsimile edition of UK-based broadsheet The Independent's international edition from here, Jagran Prakashan Ltd (JPL) today launched a new infotainment newspaper 'City Plus'.

The paper has currently been launched from Noida and will be unveiled from Gurgaon in the coming week.

It will cover topics including food, fashion, lifestyle, and hold contests, puzzles, quiz and crossword games and polls using short code 7272.

It will be distributed free of cost across select residential and commercial areas, a company statement said.
