Haryana govt warns bee keepers of pest

Chandigarh, Sep 25 (UNI) After Punjab the pest, Verova Mite. a pest has hit the bee farms of Haryana.

The state government today advised the bee keepers to keep bee families separate due to the pest.

The Director of the state Agriculture Department R K Khullar said that the pest named Verova Mite was proving to be hazardous for the rearing of bees, thereby causing huge financial loss to the bee keepers.
