Gateway Distriparks to develop CFS in JV with Chakiat Group

Mumbai, Sept 25 (UNI) Gateway Distriparks today announced it's joint venture with the Chakiat Group to set up a Container Freight Station (CFS) at Kochi for Rs 25 crore, spreading across an area of 17 acres, and having a capacity to handle 15,000 TEUs (Twenty equal units).

Under the joint venture, Gateway will hold 60 percent equity stake and the Chakiat Group will hold the remaining 40 per cent, said a media release issued by Gateway here.

The CFS at Kochi will be developed in phases, the release added.
