Foundation stones found uprooted prior to CM's visit
Gurdaspur, Sep 25 (UNI) A day before the Punjab chief minister's visit to Kahnuwan in the district, six foundation stones of different projects, which were laid by two Punjab ministers and a former Akali minister, were found broken and uprooted in the area today.
Three of these broken foundation stones had been laid by Punjab PWD minister Partap Singh Bajwa, two by Finance miniter Surinder Singla and one by former Akali minister Sewa Singh Sekhwan in Kahnuwan, the assembly constituency of Mr Bajwa.
Police took away the broken pieces of the foundations stones which had been laid by the two ministers, while Mr Sekhwan's stone was left by the cops there only.
Police have registered a case in this regard, while investigations were on.
Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh is scheduled to address a public rally in Kanuwan tomorrow.
