Five gymnasts from J

Jammu, Sep 25 (UNI) Five gymnasts from Jammu and Kashmir were included in the Indian squad to participate in the forthcoming World Cup series aerobic gymnastic competition to be held in Bangkok from November 1 to 5.

The five gymnasts were selected during the selection trial organised by Gymnastic Federation of India at Mohali in Punjab on September 23, a release said here today.

Manvinder Singh and Seema Mehra were selected for mixed pair (senior) event while Manpreet Kaur, Jaskaran Singh and Mayank Jain will play in the junior events.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Gymnastic Association President Rafiq Sadiq has congratulated the selected gymnasts of the state and appreciated their coaches -- SP Singh, Krupali Singh and Manisha Gupta -- for their efforts.
