Bharat Nirman in AP Dist begins Sep 27

Vijayawada, Sep 25 (UNI) About 60 Central and state government departments have come forward to participate in the public information campaign (PIC) 'Bharat Nirman' to be held at Vuyyuru in Krishna District from September 27 to October one.

Informing this to newsmen here today, Media and Communications Official P Bharatha Lakshmi said the PIC was being organised to create awareness on Bharat Nirman among the public.

She said the first PIC was held at Nalgonda last month and the ensuing campaign was the second in the state.On the inaugural day, a huge rally would be organised to focus on the importance of the campaign.

Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Panabaka Lakshmi and State Municipal Administration Minister Koneru Ranga Rao had consented to participate in the campaign on September 28 and 30.

Base camps, seminars and conferences and cultural programmes would form part of the PIC.
