Belgian woman murder: Driver sent to 14 days judicial custody

New Delhi, Sep 25 (UNI) A driver accused of murdering a Belgian woman was remanded in 14 days judicial custody by a city court here today.

Vijay Pal Chaudhary was the main suspect in the gruesome murder at South Delhi's Vasant Vihar, in which a 47-year-old Belgian woman, Isabelle Dessoy, was stabbed to death with a kitchen knife on September 23.

Chaudhury, who was booked under section 302 IPC, was brought before the Court of metropolitan magistrate Lalit Kumar.

Police did not demand for the police remand of the accused as blood clots, knife and other evidence have been recovered and seized at the spot of incident.

The Court after hearing the prosecution sent the accused under judicial custody for 14 days.
