AP BJP memorandum to Governor on land issue

Hyderabad, Sep 25 (UNI) The BJP today urged Governor Rameswar Thakur to order a judicial inquiry into the sale of government lands to do justice to poor farmers.

National BJP Secretary Bandaru Dattatraya, State President N Indrasena Reddy, Secretary Ashok Kumar Yadav and others today met the Governor and submitted a memorandum.

They demanded the government to distribute 'land to land' to the affected poor in the vicinity of the project areas.

The leaders wanted the cancellation of registration of all lands which took place with an ill intention after notification.

The BJP had been making representations on the issues to the government but in vain, they claimed.

The leaders urged the Governor to initiate against 'illegal' and 'fradulent' activities of vested realtors 'in collusion with the government and ruling party leaders.' UNI BR GM 1740
