Anticipatory bail of Sadhu Yadav rejected

Patna, Sep 25 (UNI) Patna High Court today rejected anticipatory bail petition of RJD MP Anirudh Prasad alias Sadhu Yadav in a case related to manhandling of a candidate for Chairman of block development committee.

A single bench of justice Navin Sinha rejected the anticipatory bail petition of the RJD MP after hearing arguments of both sides.

Earlier, arrest warrant was issued by Chief Judicial Magistrate of Gopalganj in connection with the case.

Mr Yadav had allegedly manhandled Dinesh Sahu, who was a candidate for the Chairman of the Phulwaria block during the Panchayat election this year.

A case in this connection was lodged with concerned police station.
