Analytica-Anacon to be held in November in Bangalore

Bangalore, Sep 25 (UNI) Key players in the Analysis, laboratory- technology and biotechnology industry will participate in Analytica-Anacon 2006, to be held here for three days from November 16.

The range of exhibits at the meet addressed decision makers and users in Indian laboratories in the industrial and research sectors.

Together with China, India was considered to be one of the important growth markets for analysis, laboratory-technology, diagnostic and biotechnology solutions in Asia, which account for a third of the global market volume of eight billion Euros, according to a release from Messe Munchen International, which is organising the show here.

The most important setors driving the growth in India were bioinformatics and diagnostics, pharmaceuticals and healthcare and the food industry, the release said.

India was aiming at a five per cent share of the global market and was trying hard to combine the strengths of Indian software industry with modern biotechnology to compete in the future market for bioinformatics.

Analytica-Anacon would showcase the products and services that this branch of industry had to offer and was a platform for decision makers and buyers from laboratories for medicine, pharmaceuticals, food, biotechnology, agriculture, environmental protection, metals processing and consumer goods industry. Around 120 exhibitors were expected at the fair, the release said.
