7-year-old kidnapped boy rescued from UP

New Delhi, Sep 25 (UNI) Police have rescued a seven-year-old boy, who was kidnapped on September 21 from outside his school in North West Delhi, from Ettah in UP and arrested the main accused.

Lakshit was rescued on September 24 from Ettah district's Gadanpur village by Delhi police after the arrest of main accused Vineet Kumar (20).

The victim's family had received a call for a ransom of Rs 20 lakh, to be dropped at Ettah in UP.

The police team faced stiff resistance from local residents Further investigations are in progress.
