'Women with multiple-sex partners risk cervix cancer'
Varanasi, Sep 24 (UNI) Women indulging in unprotected sex with multiple partners stand at a risk of developing cancer of cervix -- the most common cancer among women in the country --, an expert claimed here today.
''For some women sex may be a casual affair and a proof of liberated mindset -- indulging in unprotected sex with multiple partners -- is likely to make a woman vulnerable to cancer of cervix,'' said Amit Goyal, clinical lecturer of surgery from Cardiff University, UK.
Dr Goyal the wh is in city to attend the four-day integrated meet of World Federation of Surgical Oncology and Indian Association of Surgical Oncology which conluded at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) here today, said sex is an austere exercise, which should not become casual or means of fun.
