Wockhardt Walkathon Attracts more than 2500 Younger Hearts

Bangalore Sep 24 (UNI) The Walkathon organised by Wockhardt Hospitals from their Bannerghatta Road premises today on the occasion of World Heart Day attracted more than 2500 participants from all walks of life and age profiles.

The event, which was also a symbolic beginning to Wockhardt's Mission HEARTNET, was flagged off by Director General of Police B S Sial.

Mr Vishal Bali, CEO, Wockhardt Hospitals urged the participating youth to be evangelists of prevention and commended them for taking the first step to spread the message of prevention to the community by participating in the Walkathon.

A group of 18 young children on roller skates led the Walkathon.
