Vidyaranya award to G Narayana

New Delhi, Sep 24 (UNI) Karnataka Janapada Parishad President G Narayana has been selected for this year's Kannada Vidyaranya Award instituted by 'Dehali Kannadiga', a Kannada magazine published from the capital.

The award, comprising a citation and a plaque, would be given to the former Kannada Sahitya Parishad chairman during the 10th All India Kannada Literary and Cultural Conference in Mumbai on December two, magazine editor M B Samaga said here.

Besides Mr Narayana, the magazine has selected MLC Prabhakar Kore for the Dr Shankare Gowda memorial 'Best Social Worker Award' and writer G D Joshi for the 'B M Shri Literary Award', he said.
