Spurious soft drink manufacturing unit unearthed; one arrested

New Delhi, Sep 24 (UNI) One person has been arrested for running a spurious soft drink manufacturing unit from Model Town in North-West Delhi, police said today.

Sukhmal Jain, 43, was arrested following a raid by a team comprising police personnel and officials of a soft drinks company, a police spokesman said.

As many as 2472 bottles of spurious soft drinks, 84,000 fake wrappers of many soft drink brands, 8 kg caps of soft drink bottles, one mixing machine, two punching machines and a bottle washer were among items seized during the raid.
