Solanki Committee issues notices

Bhopal, Sep 24 (UNI) The G S Solanki Committee, inquiring into the death of the Madhya Pradesh government's Deputy Commissioner (Commercial Tax) R K Jain -- in Lokayukta custody -- today issued notices to six accused to make their statements.

Mr Solanki heard the submission of Advocate Deepesh Joshi who represented the Special Police Establishment. The notices were issued to Mokam Singh Nain, V P Singh, K S Solanki, Badri Nihale, Madhav Singh and Veerendra Singh, all of whom were present at the time of the incident.

The next date of hearing was fixed as December 8.
