Seven bogus doctors held in Jamnagar
Jamnagar, Sep 24 (UNI) Seven persons, who had allegedly been duping people, posing as medical practitioners, have been opprehended by the police in Meghpur, about 35 kms from here.
In a joint operation, a team of police and health officials, raided the premises of these 'bogus' doctors, in three villages of Moti Khawra, Padana and Meghpur, yesterday. Chief Medical Officer of the district Kiran Patel had lodged a complaint against them, after receiving information about them.
They have been charged under Sections 30 and 35 of the Gujarat Medical Practice Act 1963, police said.
