Pakistan Rangers deny links with infiltrators

Jaisalmer, Sep 24 (UNI) Pakistani Rangers have denied any links with the three armed infiltrators shot dead by Border Security Force jawans early today in Ganganagar district.

In the flag meeting held with BSF officials today, the offixwea of Pakistan Rangers said that Pakistan did not have any hand in the atempted infiltration.

BSF's Deputy Inspector General Harish Kashyap (Ganganagar sector) said the encounter, which began late last night, went on till this morning in Anupgarh Samer region. The intruders, who were killed in the gunfire, seemed to be Kashmiri and were in the age group of 30 years. The Adjudent of 195 Battalion had a close shave while his vehicle was damaged.
