NE Yellow Pages to make entry into state

Aizawl, Sep 24 (UNI) The next edition of North East Yellow Pages (NEYP) is all set to enter Mizoram by 2007.

Talking to the presspersons, Jayadri A Chowdhury, senior consultant of the nascent North East Yellow Pages (NEYP) said their next edition slated to come by March 2007 would contain more information about Mizoram.

Mr Chowdhury said although the NEYP had started publications in 2003, it was yet to make headway in Mizoram, Nagaland and Manipur.

He said the main purpose of his present visit to Aizawl was to promote NEYP, which would not only help the business class of the state, but also the state government by projecting itself through this useful business directory which has seen a national sales.

''We want Mizoram to contribute towards making this directory a success. For this, we need the involvement of not only the business people, but also the government as has been done by state governments like Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya,'' Chowdhury said.

He said while the NEYP was business-oriented, it was also used as a tool to showcase the NE region in a positive mode.
