G Narayana selected for 'Kannada Vidyaranya'

Bangalore, Sept 24: Kannada Janapada Parishad President and noted Kannada literary figure G Narayana has been selected for this year's prestigious 'Kannada Vidyaranya' Award instituted by Dehali Kannadiga, a Kannada monthly published from Delhi.

The Award includes a citation and plaque and would be presented in the 10th All India Kannada Literary and Cultural Conference to be held in Mumbai on December Two, 'Dehali Kannadiga' Editor M B Samaga said in a release here today.

KLE Society Chairman Prabhakar Kore, MLC has been chosen for Dr Shankare Gowda memorial 'Best Social Worker Award' and noted Writer Dr G D Joshi has been selected for 'B M Shri Literary Award'.
