HBI launches 'Operation Abhay'

Hyderabad, Sep 24 (UNI) The Human Biologicals Institute (HBI) has launched ''Operation Abhay'' for protection and freedom from health hazards by marketing world-class vaccines and biologicals for human use at affordable rates.

Under ''Operation Abhay,'' the HBI, a division of Indian Immunologicals Limited and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Development Diary Board (NDDB), introduced Abhayrab-- 'India's first' purified vero cell line anti-rabies vaccine.

The other products launched under the umbrella brand ''Abhay'' were Abhay RIG -Equine rabies immunoglobulins and AbhayVac3 vaccine for measles, mumps and rubella.

Each of these vaccines have the highest degree of potency, safety and efficacy, a release said here today.
