Chikungunya camp in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Sep 24 (UNI) More than 1500 persons today participated in a free health camp on chikun gunya, a mosquito- triggered viral infection, that has spread to thousands of people in the city.

The camp which aimed to make people aware of its symptoms and the homeopathic and Ayurvedic options available for it's treatment, was inaugurated by Gujarat Governor Naval Kishore Sharma.

The camp was organised by the Rajasthan Samiti which also announced that a sum of Rs two lakh has been made for donating wheel chairs to Surat's disabled children, an official statement said.
