Bomb hoax at Santacruz Airport

Mumbai, Sep 24 (UNI) An unclaimed bundle lying near the manager's cabin at the departure terminal number one at Santacruz Airport, suspected to be a bomb, turned out to be a hoax today, officials said.

The Santacruz Airport police said at about 1655 hrs some people saw an unclaimed bundle lying just outside the Manager cabin near departure terminal number one, who informed the police.

The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), which arrived at spot, undertook a thorough search and later said the bundle contained 'Country's maps' and the bomb scare was a hoax.
