2 women hacked to death

Lucknow, Sep 24 (UNI) Two women, both wives of policemen were allegedly hacked to death by unidentified miscreants in Allahabad district today.

Police said Asha-- wife of Laxhmikant Dwivedi and Kamla-- wife of Shivakant Dwivedi-- all residents of Khemanandpur village were killed after they went to attend a nature's call.

Land dispute was said to be the reason behind the crime.

A case has been registered and investigations are on.
