Union Power Minister to arrive on September 27

Ranchi, Sep 23 (UNI) Union Power Minister and senior Congress leader Sushil Kumar Shinde will arrive here on September 27 to inaugurate Rajeev Gandhi Rural Electrification scheme.

Congress state general secretary Madan Mohan Sharma said Energy Minister would reach Ranchi on September 27 at 0915 hours by special airforce plane.

He would inaugurate Rajeev Gandhi Rural Electrification scheme and lay foundation of the regional office of Damodar Valley Corporation.

Mr Shinde would also participate in a function organised to mark the 50th anniversary of Maithon Dam in Dhanbad.

After returning from Maithon he would leave for New Delhi on the same day.
