Thai coup 'relocates' Centre-Naga talks
Bangkok, Sep 23 (UNI) Military coup in Thailand has led to a shift in the venue of the next round of talks between the Indian government and the NSCN (IM) which were scheduled to be held here in mid-October.
According to NSCN (IM) sources here, Chief negotiator of NSCN (IM) Thuingaleng Muivah left for Netherlands early today as his permission to stay in Thailand was running out and he was not sure of a visa extension in view of the changed political circumstances in the country.
This has also created uncertainty about the schedule for the next round of talks which will now be held in the Netherlands, the sources added.
