Spot silver, gold on downward trend on bearish overseaes advice

Mumbai, Sep 23 (UNI) Values of spot silver and gold drifted lower mainly on bearish advices from international markets during the bullion closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association today said.

Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 18155 (18,200) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8885 (8,905) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 8940 (8,960).
