Medziphema youths serve 'quit notice'
Kohima, Sep 23 (UNI) The Medziphema Youth Organization (MYO) today served a 'quit notice' to the people of a certain community to leave the area by September 26.
The notice was issued following the abnormal deaths of three teenagers, who had been allegedly killed through blackmagic, local sources said.
People submitted a memorandum to the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO-C) demanding justice for the deceased ones.
According to the sources the three teenagers had killed a hen in a field manned by Abdul Majid.
Later Abdul's son Rafiq contacted a woman who is alleged to have killed the three minors by practising witchcraft, sources added.
The three boys died soon due to some stomach ailments, sources said.
However, the police had registered a case against Rafiq and the woman.
