Man stabs wife to death, attempts suicide

New Delhi, Sept 22 (UNI) In a bewildering case of uxoricide a man stabbed his wife to death and then attempted suicide in Karaval Nagar in North East Delhi this morning, police said.

Mange Ram (30) stabbed his 28-yr-old wife Anisha following a quarrel between them at their house in Karaval Nagar at around 0300 hrs after which he also stabbed himself , police said.

Both were admitted to the GTB hospital in serious condition.

The wife told the police that her husband had stabbed her, before succumbing to her injuries. The husband is in serious condition but unable to make a statement here, police added.
