Jackie's Bhoot Unkle to release on October 6
Mumbai, Sep 23 (UNI) Jackie Shroff, who completes 25 years in the film industry this year, plays a friendly ghost in 'Bhoot Unkle', a children's film which releases on October six.
The story is about a small child named Shyam who is an orphan and fed up of the harrassment by his gaurdians, runs away and reaches a lighthouse where he meets a ghost played by Jackie.
Talking to UNI, producer Krishan Chaudhary said the film was a story of the tryst between Shyam and his friends to save their town from the looming danger. It is a fun filled thriller with a lot of 'masti'.
Bhoot Unkle, a Sumeet Sehgul presentation in association with Ikon Pictures and WAM Motion Pictures, is produced by Aneesh Arjun Dev apart from Krishan Chowdhary.
Rapper Baba Saigal has forayed into music direction for the first time. The story has been written by Aneesh Arjun Dev screenplay by Rajiv Agrawal and Veeru Shahane and dialogues by Mukesh Ramani.
With Bhoot Unkle, Indian audiences will see a growth of main line commercial films specifically made for children, as they constitute nearly one-third of the total audience in entertainment sector, he said.
