High security ahead of Kalam's visit

Tiruchirapalli, Sept 23: Security has been tightened in the entire city as well as the airpot here ahead of President A P J Abdul Kalam's visit tomorrow.

Dr Kalam would arrive at the Tiruchirapalli International Airport at 0535 hrs by a special helicopter from Thanjavur, after winding up his three-day official visit to Tamil Nadu.

Before leaving for New Delhi by a special aircraft, the President is scheduled to meet some officials at the airport complex.
