Gold and silver prices rise

Mumbai, Sep 23: Prices of spot silver and gold today rose on bullish global advice in the opening session, traders at the bullion market said.

Following were today's opening spot rates : Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 18,160 Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 8,880, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 8,930.
