Congress to field candidate if TRS pulls out from UPA: Rao
Hyderabad, Sep 23 (UNI) Congress would definitely field its candidate in Karimnagar bi-election if TRS pulls out from the UPA, Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President K Keshava Rao said today.
Talking to newspersons here at the state Congress head-quarters, Gandhi Bhavan, he said the Congress was more committed to Telangana than any other parties. As long as TRS continues in UPA, the party would not field its candidate.
As the Telangana issue was a national issue, the party was striving for a consensus among all the parties.
He hoped that the TRS will continue in the UPA and all the political leaders work together for Telangana and reach a consensus on it.
