Car bomb attack in Baghdad's Sadr City kills 26
Baghdad, Sept 23: A car bomb killed 26 people and wounded 24 others when it exploded in Baghdad's Shi'ite slum of Sadr City today, police said.
The explosion came as Iraq's Sunnis observed the first day of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan where US officials had said they anticipated an increase in mainly sectarian violence gripping the capital.
