BSE/NSE modifies trading timings for 15 days

Mumbai, Sep 23 (UNI) The Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange have revised trading timings for 15 days beginning Monday to compensate for daily loss of 40 minutes on account of sun outage during this period.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) have informed both the exchanges of ''Sun Outage'' betweem 1125 hrs to 1205 hrs between September 25 to October 9 , necessiating suspension of normal trading during these 40 minutes daily for the fortnight because trading members may face loss of connectivity, an NSE release said.

The revised trading timings are as follows: Markets Open 0955 hrs Markets Close 1125 to 1210 hrs Markets Re-open 1210 hrs Markets Close 1615 hrs Closing Session 1635 to 1645 hrs.
