Boy shot dead over enmity

Chitrakoot, Sep 23 (UNI) A child was shot dead and four other people seriously wounded when some miscreants resorted to firing over a minor dispute in Mau area of the district.

Police said Sachin (6) was shot at by Brijbhushan with his licenced gun. He died on the spot.

Brijbhushan -- accompanied by armed aides -- also assaulted four other persons of the slain boy's family.

According to police, Sachin's father Rambabu and Shatrughan of village Vinayaka had jointly purchased a tractor.

However, enmity started brewing between them after the tractor's battery went missing.

Meanwhile, Shatrughan, Brijbhushan, Shravan and Ashwani are the prime accused in the case. Investigations were on.
