Allahabad Bank announces festival bonanza

Kolkata, Sep 23: Public sector Allahabad Bank has decided to offer one per cent special rebate in interest rates on all retail products excepting educational loan during the coming festive season till October 25.

This special offer titled as "Festival Bonanza" is a unique and novel way of sharing happiness of festivities with the customers by the city based bank offering them interest concessions, Allahabad Bank sources here today said.

This concession is applicable for retail loan schemes, including Car Loan, Saral Loan for Salaried Persons, Personal Loan to Pensioners/Doctors, Loan for purchase of Two Wheelers, Allbank Trade Loan Scheme, Allbank Savings Bank Overdraft Account and Loan against Rent Receivables.

Moreover, it has been decided that in Housing Loan sector, Bank will offer an attractive interest rebate of 0.50 per cent up to loan amount of Rs 10 lakhs and 0.75 per cent on loan amount of above Rs 10 lakhs and up to Rs 20 lakhs as part of the festival Bonanza.

This special offer of interest rebate is also applicable for Housing Loans under floating interest option till December 31, 2006, Allahabad Bank sources said.
