Sharad Yadav apprises PM of Nepal visit

New Delhi, Sep 22 (UNI) Janata Dal (United) president Sharad Yadav apprised Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of his four-day visit to Nepal from September 15.

Talking to newspersons here today, Mr Yadav said he called on Dr Singh and added National Security Advisor M K Narayanan also attended the meeting here yesterday.

He said he held discussion with Nepal's Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, leaders of the democratic Nepali Congress and Maoist leader Babu Ram Bhattarai.

Mr Yadav said as Nepal is our immediate neighbour, we would like that peace and stability prevails in the country.
