Security scenario of Dimapur reviewed after blast
Kohima, Sep 22 (UNI) The Dimapur district administration has decided to continue deployment of armed security personnel, including Assam Rifles and CRPF, besides magistrates on the streets, as a stepped up security measure following recent bomb blasts in Dimapur.
Officials of the district administration, police and security forces reviewed the security scenario yesterday.
Talking to mediapersons later, Dimapur Deputy Commissioner K.
Nzimongo Ngullie said searches of vehicles would continue.
The meeting was chaired by Nagaland Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary T.N.Mannen and attended by the DC, Dimapur and the Superintendent of Police, Dimapur apart from officials from intelligence agencies.
