Musharraf arrives for a tete-a-tete with Bush
Washington, Sep 22: Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf arrived here today on the eve of his White House meeting with President George W Bush during which they are expected to discuss issues of mutual concern including terrorism.
During his two-day stay here, he will have a "working lunch" with US lawmakers. The Pakistani leader will also call on Vice President Dick Cheney and meet former US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage.
Gen Musharraf is also expected to have an interactive round-table conference at the Carnegie Endowment.
Before arriving here, Mr Musharraf had met Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in New York and reportedly apprised her of his discussions with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Havana.
