Governors must maintain dignity of the constitutional post: Seth

Ajmer, Sep 22 (UNI) Chattisgarh Governor K M Seth said here today that people holding important constitutional posts should stop acting as political agents and conduct oneself keeping in mind the post's stature.

Reacting to reporters' charges here today that Governors often act as political agents, said, ''I believe most people holding important constitutional posts have maintained the dignity of the post although some Governors have come under the scanner for giving undue benefit to special political parties. Governors should act keeping in mind the dignity of the post before taking important decisions.'' Mr Seth earlier visited the Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti and offered prayers there.
