However, NSCN-IM spokesman Phungthing Shimrang said the outfit had clarified the Centre regarding the violation of ground rules by the Indian Armed Forces.

The alleged nexus between Indian Armed Forces and NSCN (K) had been questioned frequently, he said.

Shimrang ironically said the NSCN-IM would is keen to watch the sincere efforts of the Centre regarding the issue.

However, he sounded optimistic about a 'successful change' in the October next meeting between the parties.
