AP CM lays foundation stone for 'Aga Khan Education Academy'

Hyderabad, Sep 22 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today laid the foundation stone for setting up 'Aga Khan Educational Academy' on 100 aacres of land, near Ravirala village, in Rangana Reddy district.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Reddy said the state government was committed to help the Aga Khan Foundation for extending its services to the people of the state.

The Educational Academy would provide education to the poor children besides offering teacher training courses to the graduates.

Aga Khan IV, the spiritual leader of Shia Ismaili Muslims, was here on a two-day visit to the state.
