3 naxals killed in AP encounter

Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, Sep 22: Three Praja Prathighatana Group (PPG) naxals were killed in an encounter with the police, near Mamidigudem Village of Palvancha Mandal of the district today.

The naxals opened fire on special team which was combing the area prompting them to retaliate, police said.

Two DBBL, two 8mm rifles and 20 kitbags were recovered from the spot. The identity of the naxals who were killed on the spot was yet to be established.
