Two students rescued from HM militants
Jammu, Sep 21 (UNI) Two school students, kidnapped by the militants last month, were rescued today from the forests near Zihand village, about 30 km from Doda, in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
''Two teenagers, Farooq Ahmed studying in class 12 and Zakir Hussain a student of class 11 were rescued from the clutches of local HM militants,'' Senior Superintendent of Police Doda Manohar Singh told UNI.
Both the teenagers, studying at the Government Higher Secondary School Gota, Doda, were kidnapped by the militants on August 30, the police informed.
The militants were persuading the students to join the outfit and ''fight for jihad'', they added.
