Training for employees of Coal Mines Provident Fund

Hyderabad, Sept 21 (UNI)The Coal Mines Provident Fund Organisation (CMPF)is organizing a training camp for its employes posted in its regional offices of Central and Southern India.

The Regional Commissioner P.L.K Reddy, who had inaugurated the training programme here yesterday said that CMPF organisation was India's first fully computerized social security organisation where a world class ERP solution of SAP was being imparted, according to a PIB release.

He said they were being trained to utilize the software called 'Nidhi'' which would enable them to address speedily the pension and provident fund claims of its employees.

All the 23 Regional Offices had been connected through VPN Networking connection of BSNL. All the provident fund and pension date of about seven lakh workers of coal industry had been digitilised and integrated through SAP software and could be accessed from all Regional Offices.

About 30 employees selected from Various Regional Offices-- Hyderabad, Kothagudem, Nagpur, Bilaspur, Chhindwara, Sambalpur, Singruali, Talcher and Jammu were being imparted training.
