Rupee opens five paise up at 45.90/91/USD

Mumbai, Sep 21 (UNI) The Indian currency today opened strong by five paise at Rs 45.90/91 per US dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 45.96/97 per US dollar, a money market trader said today.

Currently, rupee is trading at 45.88/89 per US dollar.

The stock market too opened in the green by 48 points and is currently 109 points up at 12,218.
